WARRINGTON, U.K. -- Martin Dawes Systems, an international provider of billing, customer care and business assurance solutions for the communications market, today announced diseMP (MultiPlay), the latest enhanced version of its widely used subscriber management platform, which was previously known as dise3G.

This is the latest 4.0 version of this end-to-end solution and consolidates the ability of Martin Dawes Systems to fully support fixed, mobile and IP service providers in the delivery of multiple wireline, wireless, mobile, broadband and digital television to their customers. Existing customers of the platform offer a mixture of mobile, fixed-line, WiFi, broadband and VoIP services.

diseMP is a result of Marin Dawes Systems' strong investment and recognition that convergence has expanded into a mainstream offering. Mobile communications operators are now providing broadband and fixed-line products, while fixed-line operators and new entrants are offering fixed, mobile, internet and digital television. diseMP is playing an active roll in bringing these services to fruition. Based on Martin Dawes Systems' experience of working with service providers globally for many years, diseMP provides support for all key aspects of running a convergent communications business:

  • Commercial convergence; the ability to bill more than one product on a single bill

  • Product convergence; support for any bundled variant including fixed-mobile convergence, triple and quad play

  • Billing convergence; provision of a convergent prepaid-postpaid platform within diseMP enables these services to be provided and managed on the same system, including full functionality for hybrid billing

  • Network convergence; support for mobile, fixed, broadband, SIP, WiFi and VOIP network standards

diseMP includes order management, CRM, billing and rating, sales and marketing and credit and collections capabilities.

With the launch of diseMP, Martin Dawes Systems plans to introduce much greater modularity and will add new stand-alone products that are also pre-integrated into diseMP for customers. These will be announced during 2008.

Tony Wilson, Chief Operations Officer, Martin Dawes Systems, said: "For the last few years the industry has grappled with how to realize the multi-play service concept. Today, we're at a stage where converged services are closer to becoming part of the mainstream - or that's certainly what the industry would want to happen. This is the background behind which Martin Dawes Systems has evolved its core solution under the new name and positioning of diseMP. We are well placed to help and understand the risks and challenges associated with subscriber management for converged services. This comes from a philosophy of partnership that has produced enduring business relationships and therefore given us clear insights into what the industry needs to be competitive and innovative. diseMP distils this knowledge and experience into a solution that significantly improves the performance of delivering converged fixed, mobile, broadband, WiFi and digital television services to customers."
