SEATTLE -- Cycle30 (www.cycle30.com), provider of hosted order-to-cash billing services, announced today that it has developed a suite of flexible Commercial Business Billing software solutions specifically designed to address the needs of cable operators to successfully manage and execute both business and advanced services. The solutions will allow operators to quickly take advantage of new revenue sources from commercial accounts that had heretofore been too complex to handle.

Cable operators, particularly smaller operators, have increasingly been challenged in the management and execution of services to the business community. Product Catalogues for Commercial Accounts are much more complex, with the required setup, configuration, provisioning, selection of devices, taxation, duration and fees of the Agreement for commercial billing equally more complex. Many of the traditional billing platforms currently used by smaller operators are not equipped to manage this complexity and needed flexibility. In addition, commercial accounts tend to have higher expectations from their service providers than residential customers—they are more educated in the services they receive and are less forgiving with service/billing errors. Cycle30 estimates that for some operators, up to 10% in revenue potential from commercial services are currently being “left on the table” due to the back office issue.

The new, innovative Cycle30 solutions use some of the most intuitive and flexible front-end web interfaces in the billing business today and combines them with applications specifically designed for Commercial Services to enable operators a quick-to-market solution. In addition, Cycle30’s cable operator heritage—the company was spun out of and is currently owned by cable operator GCI—brings a level of industry understanding and emphasis on customer service unsurpassed by any other billing provider.
