PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia selects Convergys to implement BSS/OSS solutions for wireless customers

CINCINNATI and JAKARTA, Indonesia -- Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG - News), a global leader in relationship management, announced today that PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (NYSE: TLK - News), the largest information and communication company in Indonesia with over 63 million subscribers, has renewed and expanded its contract for Convergys’ relationship management solutions.
Convergys will implement its Infinys [R] Active Mediation and Infinys Rating and Billing Manager version 3.0 at PT Telekomunikasi. These state-of-the-art business support solutions will enable PT Telekomunikasi to offer its wireless customers in-demand, pre-paid, bulk purchasing and bundled services to drive increased customer loyalty and revenues.
With the new Convergys solutions in place, PT Telekomunikasi’s customers will enjoy new flexibility in bundling popular services, such as voice-grade telephone service (POTS) and digital subscriber lines (DSL), as well as pre- and post-paid fixed wireless services. In turn, PT Telekomunikasi can cross-sell its products and provide flexible discounting to its subscribers in real-time.
