PLDT and SMART select Comverse Kenan FX billing platform for fixed, mobile, and convergent services

WAKEFIELD, Mass. -- Comverse, a subsidiary of Comverse Technology, Inc. and the world's leading supplier of software and systems enabling network-based multimedia enhanced communication and billing services, today announced that the Philippines Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT), the country’s dominant telecommunications carrier, and SMART, its wholly owned subsidiary operating a nationwide cellular network, selected Comverse Kenan® FX to be their consolidated core billing platform for fixed, mobile and convergent services.
