Redknee transforms billing at Brunei’s DST Group

TORONTO -- Redknee (TSX: RKN), a leading provider of business-critical software and services for communications service providers, has announced it is working with DST of Brunei to transform its billing and customer care capabilities. This latest deal with Brunei's leading wireless provider sees Redknee continue its growth and expansion into the Asia Pacific region.

Redknee is supplying its market-leading Turnkey Converged Billing (TCB) solution to DST, allowing the provider to replace its existing wireless postpaid billing platform with Redknee's real-time converged billing and customer care solution. DST will now be able to enhance its subscriber offering and end-user experience to its postpaid subscribers by offering real-time promotions, enhanced customer care and the delivery of hybrid payment options, such as family or group account plans, faster to the market.

In the past 10 years, Brunei's mobile market has experienced exponential growth, which has culminated to the mobile penetration rate surpassing 105 per cent today. Holding more than 85 per cent of the mobile market share, DST has selected Redknee to help it enhance its customer experience, drive customer loyalty and improve its revenue management. The agreement will see Redknee deliver not only real-time billing and customer care solutions, but also empower DST with retail inventory and point of sale management, mediation, roaming billing and settlement and web self-care options.
