ZTE Takes the Rap

10:50 AM -- All that was missing was a senior executive or three throwing some shapes...

Equipment and handset vendor ZTE Corp. (Shenzhen: 000063; Hong Kong: 0763) launched its new Windows Phone device, called Tania, in the U.K. Wednesday evening at an exclusive gig at London's Supperclub venue by Professor Green, the understandably highly popular British rap artist whose most recent tour was sponsored by the vendor. (See ZTE Unveils Windows Phone in UK.)

EuroBlog showed up (increasing the average age of those present considerably by doing so) with our camera, had a quick look at the smartphone in question and took a few snaps throughout the evening. Just click on the photo below to launch the slide show.

All the pictures and captions are our fault, so don't go looking for any one else to blame...

All this for a phone, wow. Living near Apple, I guess I should be used to that. :)

Well, it sure beats powerpoints...
