Extend-ing Into Europe

Ray Le Maistre

3:00 PM -- Among the many folk EuroBlog bumped into at last week's IPTV World Forum was Andrew Parker, former CTO at content delivery network (CDN) player Velocix , or Cachelogic as it was known in Parker's days. (See CacheLogic Builds P2P Content Network.)

So what's Parker up to these days? Well, he is one half of the team that is bringing content management system ExtendMedia Inc. to Europe, the other half being Roger Sherwood, who has held a number of posts in the OSS and video infrastructure sectors. (See C-COR Appoints VP.)

Parker and Sherwood now need to familiarize themselves with a new head honcho: ExtendMedia, which has already bagged some action with the likes of AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) and BCE Inc. (Bell Canada) (NYSE/Toronto: BCE), announced a new CEO today. See this Contentinople story about the new man at the helm, Tom MacIsaac.
