NORCROSS, Ga. -- Ben Lomand Telephone Co-op Inc., a provider of advanced telecommunications services based in McMinnville, Tennessee, has selected Enhanced Telecommunications, Inc.(ETI), to help it provision premium video services. ETI is a leading developer of broadband automation software facilitating the triple play services of voice, video and data.

Ben Lomand, a provider of long-distance and high-speed Internet with 43,000 subscribers, has chosen ETI’s CableBridge Plus, to enable convergent billing for their new digital video product. Ben Lomand will be launching its premium broadband service early in 2004.

“CableBridge Plus will enable us to offer a new digital video product to select subscribers while still billing services on one integrated convergent bill,” says Levoy Knowles, CEO of Ben Lomand. “CableBridge Plus will provide seamless integration to our existing billing system as we offer more premium services to an audience increasingly dependent on broadband services.”

CableBridge Plus is an enhanced version of ETI’s flagship product CableBridge™ that includes a powerful rating engine and additional customer care and reporting features. CableBridge Plus lets operators establish rates for subscription services, equipment charges, and one-time charges as well as automatically generate triple play convergent bills. CableBridge exports the billing records into a simple flat file format that can be processed by an operator’s current OSS/SMS billing system.

“CableBridge Plus will help Ben Lomand to provision digital set-top boxes for new premium channels while providing subscribers with the convenience of a single billing statement,” says Peter M. Pifer, CEO of ETI. “CableBridge Plus provides Ben Lomand with the flexibility to provide different programming packages while providing ease of use to the current customer service staff.”
