WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- VoIP Logic today announced its launch of BroadSoft® BroadWorks® VoIP application platform as a managed service as well as BroadWorks-integrated Cortex OSS for provisioning and billing. BroadWorks will complement and ultimately replace VoIP Logic’s Sylantro Synergy platform. It will provide telephony features, messaging and SIP Trunking commonly sold in Class 5 enterprise hosted PBX and consumer VoIP service offerings. VoIP Logic anticipates that this offering will provide real value for service providers and carriers that are looking for improved visibility, flexibility, cost control and scalability in running their Class 5 operations.

VoIP Logic CEO Micah Singer said, “Integrating BroadWorks with Cortex OSS allows service providers to get to market with infrastructure and provisioning, billing and integration quickly, affordably, with tested technology and an experienced deployment team.”

Cortex® OSS is a flexible middleware application that allows carriers and service providers to fully integrate their telephony feature management with invoicing, data management, credit card processing, unified web presentation, mobile phone presentation, and many other features. Cortex with BroadWorks allows wizard-based provisioning, integrated billing and invoicing and extensive monitoring.

“VoIP Logic is a great example of how a service provider can execute on cloud computing,” said Michael Tessler, president and CEO of BroadSoft. “Their model is unique in that they offer a true managed VoIP service where reseller partners leverage VoIP Logic’s BroadWorks core and can bring their own telecommunications services to market.“
