Sonus Networks completes interoperability with BroadSoft

(NASDAQ:SONS - News), a market leader in next-generation IP-based network solutions, today announced that the company’s NBS5200™ Session Border Controller (SBC) has successfully completed interoperability testing with the BroadWorks® voice application platform using Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). This interoperability includes the extensive BroadSoft® suite of BroadWorks services including call control, registration handling, fax interworking, and video. For service providers, interoperability shortens the test deployment and acceptance cycle and provides confidence that advanced services can work seamlessly between Sonus and BroadSoft.
