Gateway Gulf has chosen Sonus to deliver its core IP voice interconnectivity and CLASS 5 consumer and business VoIP services

WESTFORD, Mass. -- Sonus Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq:SONS - News), providing network transformation through IP communications technology, today announced that Gateway Gulf, a leading provider of managed data network and internet exchange services in the Middle East, has chosen Sonus to deliver its core IP voice interconnectivity and CLASS 5 consumer and business VoIP services. This is the first major win for Sonus in the region. The Sonus solution will be deployed across the Middle East, starting with Bahrain.

Pastore has served as Sonus' Interim Chief Financial Officer since February 2010 and the Company's Vice President, Finance, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer since May 2008.
