Newport has achieved ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard

CALDICOT, U.K. -- Newport Networks, the developer of carrier-class Session Border Controllers, announced today that it has achieved ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard. SGS performed the ISO 9001:2000 assessment and has presented the company with their certificate. This is the first time a session border controller vendor has achieved this level of certification.

The ISO 9000 series of international standards for quality management is among the most widely known and successful of the 13,000 standards published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). ISO has become the most recognized international reference for quality requirements in business to business dealings.
