KRANJ, Slovenia and VANCOUVER -- Iskratel, a leading systems integrator and network equipment provider, today announced that it will extend its relationship with CounterPath Corporation (OTCBB: CPAH; TSX-V: CCV) to include the company's full suite of desktop and mobile VoIP products in its solutions offerings.

Having successfully launched CounterPath NomadicONE (a fixed-mobile convergence solution, formerly named BridgePort NomadicONE) with Mobitel, Slovenia's largest mobile operator, Iskratel will now add CounterPath's line of multimedia softphones and conferencing solutions to its offerings. The CounterPath products will integrate seamlessly with Iskratel's SI3000 Multi Service Control Node (MSCN) and deliver the benefits of unified communications to fixed and mobile operators.

"Iskratel is redefining the notion of service delivery by enabling operators to quickly bring innovative, scalable, pre-integrated FMC services to their customers in pre- or IMS environments," said Jason Fischl, Chief Technology Officer, CounterPath. "We are excited that Iskratel has chosen our products as the perfect complement to their service-enablement strategy. In conjunction with our FMC and softphone solutions, operators gain a clear competitive advantage by allowing users to access any application from any network on any device, enabling a single service profile and application convergence across multiple access networks."
