WOBURN, Mass. -- Integra5, the leader in enabling service providers to blend quad play bundles into new communications experiences that span TVs, PCs and phones, today announced that it will showcase for the first time its new landline-to-mobile caller ID application, powered by the i5 Converged Services Platform (i5 CSP) at The Cable Show, May 18-20 in New Orleans.

The application – which complements i5’s existing converged communication services portfolio, including TV and PC Caller ID, Voicemail Message Waiting Indication and other real-time alerts – brings mobility and place-shifting to service providers’ landline offerings, regardless of whether they operate a wireless network.

Geared toward consumers and SMBs, landline-to-mobile Caller ID notifies users in real time of their incoming landline calls via SMS text alerts – which contain the caller’s name and phone number – on their cell phones. Users can initiate a ‘call back’ by clicking on the phone number hyperlink within the text message.

“By providing integration with cell phones, landline-to-mobile caller ID lets any operator – including pure fixed line telephony providers – incorporate mobility and increase the relevance and value of their landline offerings,” said Meredith Flynn-Ripley, president and CEO at Integra5. “For subscribers, the result is greater freedom, convenience and a more unified telephony experience.”
