Combridge deploys next-generation VOIP network in Romania using Huawei gear

BUDAPEST, Hungary -- Huawei Technologies, a leader in providing next generation telecommunications networks for carriers around the world, today announced that the Next Generation VoIP Network deployed in Romania by Huawei for Combridge Srl. (100% affiliate of Magyar Telekom Plc.) has been completed successfully and is now poised for commercial operation.

The network covers the 10 largest cities in Romania and will enable Combridge to provide carrier selection post-paid VoIP services under the brandname "EUfonika" to residential and business customers in whole Romania. In line with the framework of the supply agreement Huawei has deployed Soft Switches, media gateways and IP router network equipment to Combridge.
