GAITHERSBURG, Md. -- BroadSoft, Inc., a leading provider ofhosted communications platforms, announced today that Iskratel, a leadingEastern European provider specialising in fixed and mobile communicationssolutions, is using the BroadSoft(r) BroadWorks VoIP application platform tooffer European carriers the most comprehensive wholesale IP Centrex, hostedPBX and residential broadband VoIP services available.

Iskratel will bundle BroadWorks' complete range of advanced voice features,such as user-configurable voicemail-to-email, click to dial andfind-me-follow-me services, with extensive professional telecommunicationsservices, including training, portal development, billing and localisationfor Europe's multi-lingual market.

Iskratel chose BroadSoft in response to an increasing demand for a completerange of advanced enterprise VoIP services including IP Centrex fromtraditional IT providers. Previously Iskratel offered only a standard VoIPservice for residential broadband service providers. The agreement isalready bearing fruit with Telecom Slovenia adopting the BroadWorks platformin order to offer advanced VoIP services to theirenterprise customers.
