11:40 AM -- Orange France has wasted no time in heaping on extra applications to its unlicensed mobile access (UMA)-based service Unik. Having sold 1.3 million Unik handsets and launched the 3G version of the dual-mode cellular/WiFi service in September, Orange said today that it will add high-definition mobile TV to Unik. The service will be available in France on the new UMA-enabled LG Secret KF757, which will include the Orange TV Player mobile TV software. Users will have access to 60 mobile TV channels and unlimited access to 20 of those channels.
