READING, Berkshire, U.K. -- Trigyn Technologies Ltd., of Reading, Berkshire, has launched the industry's
first fully convergent WAP and Web enabled billing and customer care system.
Named Apollo dx, the software has an advanced object orientated and rule
based architecture that allows for a level of flexibility in tariffing and
integration yet to be achieved by any other billing system on the market.
Aimed at ASPs, ISPs, network operators and service providers such as public
utilities, telcos and banks, Apollo uses a multi-media delivery platform,
from Trigyn subsidiary eVector, to integrate activity detail records for any
billable event and from any source: including WAP, SMS, GPRS, UMTS, iTV,
ADSL, PDA, Internet, customer database or legacy application.
"It is the meta-data layer flexibility above all that allows the system to
claim its 'total convergence' title - it can cope with landline, mobile,
packet networks and Interactive TV - define the billable event and Apollo
can handle it!" says Steve Fisher, VP of Telecoms Practice at Trigyn.
"Furthermore, Apollo can cope with almost any configuration of integration
with legacy systems using this tool. The real fireworks, however, are saved
for the prospect of intelligent billing for applications services or
information over multiple channels."
