The iPhone's Business Mullet

5:45 PM -- AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) has unveiled its first enterprise plan for the Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) iPhone but hasn't really addressed the question of how to link the device to major corporate email packages like Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT)'s Exchange yet.

The enterprise data plan for iPhone 200 comes with 200 text messages for $45 per month. The enterprise data plan for iPhone 1500 comes with 1,500 text messages for $55, and the plan with unlimited messaging costs $65. In essence, the phone has got the cellular equivalent of the business mullet -- short at the front but long at the back. Corporate types will be looking for more email support and ways to secure data on the devices from AT&T and Apple before taking the plunge.
