5:35 PM -- Could today's Interop keynote from John Chambers have been his last? Cisco Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: CSCO) doesn't appear on the Interop 2008 exhibitor list yet, according to a friend close to the situation. (Full disclosure: Light Reading is owned by CMP, which also owns Interop.)

Word has it Cisco might be planning its own conference for the spring 2008 timeframe instead. Anybody else hearing that?
