Mehdi Emdadi, formerly with Siemens and Sprint, joins as SVP and CTO

Tachion Networks, innovators of the Collapsed Central Office, today announced that Mehdi Emdadi has joined the company as its Senor Vice President, Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Bringing over twenty five years of experience in all aspects of packet and circuit switch technologies with start ups and some of the largest equipment vendors and service providers in the industry, Emdadi will be responsible for overseeing the technical direction of Tachion's revolutionary FUSION 5000(tm) Broadband Services Switch.

Emdadi's list of accomplishments at major telecom vendors and service providers such as Siemens, Sprint and Telogy Networks (a Texas Instrument Company), covers a wide variety of voice and data technologies including Class 5 digital Central Office switching, digital loop carriers, voice networks, SS7 signaling, fiber optics networking, packet switching, broadband switching, terrestrial and satellite communications and network management.

Additionally, throughout his career Emdadi has managed large scale network development and deployment projects for worldwide multiprotocol data/voice/image networks with particular emphasis on network management, communications switching, access software/hardware, systems engineering, marketing and outsourcing.
