T-Mobile Trials Femtos

8:00 AM -- Thanks to Silicon.com's reporting, we now know about T-Mobile International AG 's plans for femtocell trials in Germany, the Netherlands, and the U.K. The trials are due to start in the second quarter of this year.

The German giant joins a growing list of mobile operators that are testing the tiny home base stations, including Japan's SoftBank Corp. , Vodafone Group plc (NYSE: VOD), Telefónica Europe plc (O2) , and Orange France , just to name a few.
