Startup Cops Award, Cisco Investment

MONROVIA, Calif. -- Integrated Micromachines Incorporated (IMMI) announced that it has received the Product of the Year 2000 Award from EE Product News for its IMP-2000 MEMS sensor. IMMI is a component manufacturing company and has been in business for almost six years. IMMI produces MEMS products for the automotive and HVAC markets, using its proprietary 2 nd generation technology based on single-crystal silicon micromachining and electromagnetic actuation.

IMMI also made a second announcement regarding a strategic investment from Cisco Systems. Cisco invested $25 million into IMMI as part of a $45 million equity investment led by Invesco Private Capital and with participation from existing investors including Adams Capital Management, SunAmerica Ventures, Venture TDF and others.
