PALATINE, Ill. -- StarNet, Inc., one of the largest wholesale dialup and VoIP providers in the United States, announces the immediate availability of its new vePipe service. StarNet's vePipe services are designed to provide Voice-over-IP capabilities to business clients with existing PBX telephone systems.

StarNet's vePipe service is focused on providing flexibility, significant savings, and the capacity for instant expansion to businesses who are ready to abandon the high costs of the traditional telephone network and route their calls over the internet. Clients may obtain phone numbers from any area code serviced by the VoiceEclipse network, or port existing numbers to the service.

"As we ourselves have experienced over the years, growth and expansion can severely strain a company's phone system," says CEO Russ Intravartolo. "We're excited about vePipe service because we believe it is designed exactly the way our customers wanted it. If you already own your own PBX system, you can still take advantage of VoIP savings. It seems that many VoIP providers are offering a service which appears to be designed around one telephone, and ignores the fact that many businesses already own a PBX, and want to keep that investment in place."

With vePipe, customers may add "Pipes" (which are similar to lines in the traditional telephone network, representing the total number of concurrent calls possible) in real-time, using a web-based management interface. Customers may also obtain additional phone numbers (both local and toll-free) and freely designate how many Pipes are associated with each phone number. Phone numbers are available from any supported area codes, even allowing numbers from multiple cities to be routed to the same phone system. In this way, customers can provide a local number to clients in many cities, or create the impression of branch offices all across the country. None of these services require an on-site visit or any installation.

A variety of usage packages are available to suit any volume, and customers may change their usage package at any time. Above all, vePipe offers savings. A medium-sized business (12 phone numbers, 2000 local minutes & moderate long distance usage) can cut their monthly bill from roughly $700 to below $350 by making the switch.
