Sonusitis
I have to ask, given the tenor of the mail we tend to get anytime we (1) write about Sonus or (2) fail to write about Sonus.
It doesn't help that Sonus itself has trouble communicating. Its explanation of revenue deferrals was a torturous affair. And I know a company can't be blamed for its fans, but I have to wonder why it is certain companies attract certain kinds of investors.
The Sonusoids I've heard from recently are so obnoxious that they're reminding me of all the folks that used to dog us for not recognizing the greatness of Corvis.
And how'd that turn out?
The most recent mail flurry I got was because Light Reading was writing about Lucent Technologies Inc.'s IMS wins at several major carriers and not giving wall-to-wall coverage of Sonus's big victory at EarthLink Inc.
So I've got to ask: Are you guys winding me up? Or is there something we're really missing?
Interestingly, Sonus is down $0.83 (16.40%) to $4.23 this morning, and the normally shrill Sonus backers are eerily quiet.

But hey, we should all be thankful - you wouldn't get this in the laundry and dry cleaning business, eh?
