LONDON -- Data Connection Limited (DCL), a leading provider of communications protocol software, announced today that Seabridge has licensed DCL’s DC-MPLS, DC-OSPF and DC-ATM software for use in their SURPASS hiD and next generation multi-service packet switch product lines.

Seabridge Ltd. develops leading multi-service packet switches, which address carriers’ need to combine future services, based on IP / Ethernet / MPLS, with the large installed base of ATM, Ethernet and Leased Line services, and converge them all onto a single switch and a single network.

DCL develops the leading portable protocol source code for packet and optical network devices. Its efficient and robust IP Routing, MPLS, and ATM software is designed for the demanding requirements of next generation networks, with support for Traffic Engineering, VPN, optical (GMPLS), and fault tolerant and massively scaled environments. All its products are rigorously unit and system tested, and are backed by its unrivalled support service, which includes direct access to development engineers.

"We have been working with DCL for several years, and the quality of their products and support has been fundamental to our success," said Ilan Barda, VP R&D of Seabridge. "We can plan with confidence, as we know that DCL will deliver the features that we require to our high standards and on time."
