SINGAPORE -- BroadSoft, Inc., the leading provider of VoIP application software, today announced that Samsung Networks selected BroadSoft's BroadWorks platform to support its hosted VoIP e-business services. Samsung Networks is the telecommunications business division in Samsung - the most profitable South Korean conglomerate and a world leader in consumer electronics.

Samsung Networks provides a full portfolio of communications services, including network, telephone and digital multimedia services that leverage the company's global infrastructure. The company's new hosted PBX services enable its customers to compete more effectively by offering up to 70% savings over traditional long distance and international services. Using the platform's open interface, Samsung Networks fully integrates BroadSoft's leading set of advanced features, such as selective call forwarding, voice-to-email and click-to-dial into its web portal to provide a seamless user experience.

"We chose BroadSoft over the competition because their technology fully meets our service requirements for reliability and flexibility," said Mr. Park, Internet Telephony Team Head at Samsung Networks. "By taking advantage of the BroadWorks open architecture and comprehensive range of integrated VoIP applications, we can offer a suite of services that bring business benefits directly to our corporate customers. We look forward to a long working relationship with BroadSoft and to delivering compelling new services that meet the needs of major organizations."
