SHENZHEN, China -- ZTE Corporation (“ZTE”) (H share stock code: 0763.HK / A share stock code: 000063.SZ), a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, in line with its corporate theme “Talking to the Future,” today announced it has launched its first-generation reconfigurable multi-service router ZXR10 M6000 at CommunicAsia 2009, currently underway in Singapore.

ZTE’s ZXR10 M6000 is a carrier-class multi-service router that can be deployed in large-scale metropolitan area service edges, It provides rich service access and powerful service control abilities to meet operators’ business needs for full service operations including higher bandwidth, richer service access, more flexibility, faster service deployment and lower TCO (total cost of ownership).

As market demand increases and technologies continue to progress, telecom services have gradually becomes more diversified from single models. Fixed network and mobile operators have also gradually converged their services to provide comprehensive applications that integrated with voice, data and images services. As a result, operators have to offer unified bearer networks based on advanced equipment and integrated services carrying capacities to meet various service demands.

To fulfill the ever-changing market demands, this new generation carrier-class equipment integrates the functions of broadband remote access server (BRAS) and service router (SR), and can selectively configure various service models, achieving multi-service access through a unified platform and facilitating operators to develop various services efficiently. With its advanced features, the ZXR10 M6000 can also provide aggregated service solutions such as single edge, double edge and BRAS concentrated deployment, smooth evolution of network and reduce network’s TCO.
