Juniper Upgrades TelstraClear

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR) today announced that TelstraClear, one of New Zealand's leading service providers, has upgraded its core network with Juniper Networks M320 Multiservice Routing Platforms. The M320 platforms expand on TelstraClear's earlier deployed M-series routers, doubling the service provider's core network performance from 160 to 320 gigabits per second (Gbps), and enabling them to continue to support growing demand.

'Because JUNOS is the operating system common to both platforms, we were able to smoothly migrate to the M320,' said TelstraClear Manager of Planning and Design Peter Ambrose. 'Our infrastructure operates close to 'Eight Nines' high availability and, by staying with the Juniper platform, we were able to scale to higher performance while maintaining superior network stability for our customers.'
