BELNET selects Juniper T1600 and M120 to accelerate network growth

SUNNYVALE, Calif. and BRUSSELS, Belgium -- BELNET, Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR), the leader in high-performance networking, and its partner Telindus, part of the Belgacom Group, today announced that BELNET plans to build its next-generation research network based upon Juniper Networks T1600 Core Routers and M-series Multiservice Edge Routers. The high-performance Juniper infrastructure, to be installed and maintained by Telindus, will enable BELNET to cost-effectively deliver a range of high-speed, flexible IP-based services to universities, research centers and government agencies across Belgium.
