Hang on a second, did Basil actually show you working FP3 boards? It would appear that he had some humming in the background. Can you confirm.
They had working FP3 boards back there, yes. (As far as I could tell. You know how these demos go; they have some interface on a PC that tells you "It's running 100G!")
Also got to see an FP3 board out of the box. Ooooo.
What SPs will use this first and what will be the main application? It is interesting that edge routing is now approaching core speeds & feeds, but more interesting to know what applications are breaking the old edge routers and forcing a move to more advanced platforms.
