Readers Right?

11:40 AM -- Ouch!

Seventy-one percent of respondents to our latest poll say they don't expect mobile WiMax to succeed in the U.S., despite the revitalized Clearwire LLC (Nasdaq: CLWR) deal.

In fact, not a single voter believes that they will get to use mobile WiMax in the U.S. this year, although 43 percent expect to sample it in 2009.

The main drag factors on WiMax takeup are expected to be competition from other carriers and potentially slow deployment of the network. Have your say on WiMax here: WiMax USA.

re: Readers Right? 14 responses doesn't seem like much of a sample size... maybe wait until more votes are in?

re: Readers Right? Well, time to change the post to reflect the correct stats then, eh?

Guess you don't have to change "readers right," but last check showed more optimism than your original 14-vote poll tally.
