TEL AVIV -- RADCOM Ltd. (Nasdaq: RDCM), a leading network test and quality management solutions provider, today announced the addition of H.323 Media stress testing capabilities to its award-winning, VoIP Performer(TM) test solution suite. The addition of RTP generation to the company's 323Sim(TM) product, a high-volume H.323 call generator, enables vendors and service providers to generate RTP streams to test and verify the performance of carrier-grade gateways, mediators and media servers in high traffic. This unique capability is also useful when testing network readiness for H.323 solutions or large-scale gateways between packet and switched circuit networks and media servers. Utilizing RADCOM's hardware transmission capabilities, the new H.323 Media Stress solution allows 323Sim customers to generate loads with 2,000 sessions, with full signaling and RTP streams, in various codecs for H.323 calls created by H.323 signaling. Deployment of multiple units, controlled from a single console, allows for unlimited expansion of this scalable solution's generation capabilities. The H.323 Media Stress solution also provides for customer-defined RTP packet structuring such as the number of frames per packet and RTP packet duration. Additionally, customers can set packet transmission intervals on the RTCP (RTP Control Protocol) channel. By transmitting pre-defined or customer-defined speech signals, the H.323 Media Stress solution enables objective voice quality evaluation using PAMS or PESQ. Customers can also configure the SSRC (Synchronization Source Identifier) field and control the UDP (User Diagram Protocol) port ranges for full-range compliance testing. "RADCOM wants to provide one-stop shopping for all Voice over Data testing requirements. To accomplish this goal, we are committed to continuing to deliver customer-driven enhancements to our Voice over Data test solution suite. The H.323 Media Stress solution is the latest in a series of new products/product enhancements offered in response to input from convergence vendors and service providers with whom we are actively engaged in facilitating efforts to develop, provision and deploy convergence technology based devices, services and infrastructures," said Dudi Ripstein, General Manager of Products and Technologies, RADCOM.
