EATONTOWN, N.J. -- Quintum Technologies, a leading innovator in VoIP technology, today announced the Tenor AX VoIP MultiPath Switch, an advanced high-density VoIP switching solution for analog environments. The Tenor AX which is available in 8-, 16- and 24-port models adds greater scalability and ease-of-management to Quintum's acclaimed Tenor VoIP switching platform.

Quintum's Tenor switches deliver optimum voice quality, reliability and efficiency over IP networks through patented SelectNet Technology, which monitors calls for jitter, packet loss and latency, automatically and transparently changing network connections mid-call whenever conditions demand. Tenor's unique MultiPath architecture makes it the easiest VoIP solution to deploy in the industry requiring no changes to the PBX or by the users.

"The Tenor AX is the latest example of Quintum's steady evolution of switching solutions that enable enterprises to adopt IP," said Jon Arnold, Frost & Sullivan's VoIP Program Leader.
