Cisco has acquired what's left of Qovia, a Frederick, Md., vendor of VOIP monitoring tools. Just writing that gave me the jitters.

Maryland's Gazette newspaper got the real skinny: "We acquired certain assets of Qovia, but I can't say which ones," a Cisco spokesman told them.

Shhh! It's a secret.
