LONDON -- Azure Solutions, the revenue-assurance company, today announced that O2 Germany, a German mobile operator, has renewed its contract to use Azure's Interconnect bureau service. The initial agreement was signed in 2001 and the renewal confirms O2 Germany's business need for Azure's bureau based service.

The Interconnect bureau is based on Azure's award-winning Interconnect system. It provides operators with a cost-effective and scaleable solution to manage their interconnect traffic, as they can pay for the service on a 'pay-as-you-grow' basis meaning that no large capital outlay is required.

The Interconnect bureau is housed in one of the most advanced data centres in Europe and, via a secure web-based interface, operators can access and manage their interconnect billing functions remotely. Being able to access detailed call information anywhere, at anytime, gives operators greater flexibility in managing their interconnect agreements and greater visibility of key data, enabling them to bill and reconcile interconnect traffic more accurately and effectively.
