Jeff Stern, co-founder of GoBeam and VOIP pioneer, has been appointed to the company’s Board of Directors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Nuvio Corporation, a leading provider of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), today announced that Jeff Stern, former co-founder of GoBeam and VoIP pioneer, has been appointed to the company’s Board of Directors.

Stern has over 20 years experience in sales, marketing, business development and engineering in the communications and software industries. At GoBeam, which was sold to Covad in 2004, Stern was a member of the Board of Directors and helped lead the company from a raw start-up into a leading IP Centrex player. Today, he partners with former GoBeam co-founder Rob Stevenson at XoIPWare and consults for innovative companies like Nuvio.
