NTT to Deploy Foundry Switches

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Foundry Networks®, Inc. (NASDAQ: FDRY), a total performance and solutions leader for end-to-end switching and routing, announced today that NTT Data Corporation, a leading network service provider in Japan, has deployed Foundry's BigIron®8000 and BigIron 4000 Gigabit Ethernet Layer 3 switches to form the core switching architecture to improve overall network reliability, scalability and performance in its data centers at the core, aggregation and customer layers throughout Japan, including Otemachi, Tokyo, Yokohama and Osaka.
