Inkra Networks licenses NextHop’s GateD NGC 2.x routing software; Internet Photonics deploys its LightStack products using GateD

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- NextHopTechnologies® Inc., the definitive source for network routing softwaresolutions, today announced that Inkra Networks has licensed NextHop’sGateD® NGC 2.x routing software to serve as the primary routing enginefor its Virtual Service Switch family of multi-function securityswitches.

Aimed at large enterprise and data center networks, Inkra’s VirtualService Switches help customers simplify security infrastructuremanagement and minimize operations costs. Adding routing functionalityvia the GateD NGC 2.x software helps Inkra’s customers save space, powerand management overhead.
