NextGen, a subsidiary of Nissho Electronics, selects SnowShore Networks' media servers for two Pacific Rim carrier trials

CHELMSFORD, Mass. -- SnowShore Networks, innovators in IP enhanced communications infrastructure, and NextGen, Japan's preeminent provider of "Everything over IP" networks, today announced SnowShore's selection for trials within two leading Pacific Rim carriers. The two companies also announced their entry into a distribution agreement naming SnowShore as NextGen's sole supplier of media servers. With a projected goal of deploying over $1 million US in media services infrastructure over the next year and $5 million in the second year, NextGen will use SnowShore's N20 Media Server to power key business and consumer services such as IP Centrex, Virtual Call Center and Intelligent Dialing applications.
