SAN JOSE, Calif. -- The New IP -- Attendees at Light Reading's latest event Thursday learned how to transform their networks to drive innovation and profits.
The one-day conference featured speakers from communications service providers with hands-on experience with SDN and NFV, as well as leading vendors, including Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) (they're going to be big -- remember, you heard it here first), Cisco Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: CSCO), NTT America Inc. , Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE: ALU), Sprint Corp. (NYSE: S), Colt Technology Services Group Ltd and more.
Topics included open source, security, SDN, disruption and innovation.
The event also featured one of our series of Women in Telecom Breakfasts. Two of the editors at the show participated in that. The third had a "One Guy In Telecom Eating Alone (But He's Fine With That -- Really) Breakfast." (See Women in Telecom: Collaboration Critical to New IP.)
