SAN JOSE, Calif. -- NeuStar, a leading provider of trusted information exchange services for the communications industry, today announced at the VON Spring Conference & Expo that it will offer Enhanced Service Request (ESR), the latest in NeuStar's suite of IP services.

NeuStar's ESR service provides VoIP and Wholesales Service Providers with an integrated solution when placing customer order requests - such as porting or transferring phone numbers - with speed and efficiency, enhancing customer service and reducing operating costs.

"NeuStar's ESR service bridges the gap between the traditional landline and IP worlds," said Jeffrey E. Ganek, chairman and CEO of NeuStar. "ESR leverages NeuStar's clearinghouse model of provisioning services in an automated and efficient manner. It builds on our experience as a trusted, neutral clearinghouse to deliver the industry's first back-office infrastructure to support VoIP service enablement."
