PLANO, Texas -- Neural Technologies (Nt), a leading provider of risk management, fraud, and revenue assurance solutions, today announced a global partnership with Sevis Systems, a provider of next-generation signaling solutions. The partnership extends Nt's fraud and revenue assurance portfolio to include active signaling probes used to provide real-time responses to fraudulent activity. By combining Nt's end-to-end fraud management solutions with Sevis's active signaling probe technology, service providers for the first time now have the ability to instantly stop fraud upon its detection.

Nt is integrating Sevis's Active Fraud Eliminator (AFE) product into its Minotaur(tm) fraud management solution suite, to be marketed as the Minotaur(tm) AFE. This integration allows both companies to better address the growing problem of fraud, especially within mobile networks.

The Communications Fraud Control Association (CFCA) estimates that global telecom fraud is between US $35 to $40 billion. Some industry estimates claim that roaming fraud losses represent approximately 50% of all GSM fraud.

"Nt is committed to its position as the leading innovator in the fraud solutions market. The selection of Sevis as our partner enhances our ability to go beyond pure fraud detection; we now have the ability to instantly stop fraud in its tracks," said Luke Taylor, Nt's Commercial Director. "Sevis's proven success as a signaling innovator and carrier-grade solutions provider enable us to continue to deliver the most innovative system on the market."

"Today's announcement marks a major step forward in the fight against fraud," said Rick Carter, Director of Sales and Marketing at Sevis. "By working with Nt, we're helping carriers around the world find new ways to combat fraud and minimize its losses. The Minotaur(tm) AFE closes the gap between detection and prevention."
