WALTHAM, Mass. -- NetCracker Technology, a leading provider of OSS and IT Infrastructure Management Solutions, today announced the opening of a regional office in Melbourne, Australia to support its growing customer base of service providers and cable operators. The opening of this location is driven by the increasing demand for NetCracker's OSS solutions in the Asia-Pacific region. NetCracker's growth in the region started with a significant relationship, announced in 2004, with Telstra, Australia's largest service provider.

To support NetCracker's efforts in this region, Graham Mirabito has been appointed the general manager of NetCracker Technology Pty Ltd., a subsidiary formed to conduct its Asia Pacific operations. Mirabito has more than 25 years of experience in the telecom industry, spanning both engineering and business management assignments. Most recently, he was director of solutions and innovation for Telstra's Managed Services Business, Kaz Group. His general management experience includes positions as managing director, Telstra UK; vice president of global sales and operations, Telstra; and general manager, enterprises, at Solution 6.

"NetCracker is poised to build on its recent successes in this part of the world by offering service providers the opportunity to become more profitable and competitive using NetCracker's solutions," said Graham Mirabito. "I am excited to be joining such a reputable, fast-growing and financially solid company and am looking forward to working with NetCracker's remarkably talented team."

Andrew Feinberg, president and CEO of NetCracker, added: "With this expansion, we can better support our growing customer base in Asia-Pacific. I am thrilled to welcome Graham on board and am sure that under his leadership NetCracker will become the undisputed leader in Asia-Pacific as we have in North America and Europe."
