MetaSolv received the #1 ranking for Service Activation, #2 in Service Provisioning, #3 in Mediation, #4 in Resource and Inventory Management, and #4 in the category of overall OSS supplier.

Heavy Reading's 2005 OSS Market Perception Study measured global communications service provider perceptions of 190 OSS suppliers. This report is based solely upon OSS customer perceptions, not those of industry or market analysts.

The report indicates that OSS specialists like MetaSolv are getting more attention and building mind share with carrier customers. The report further noted that "Micromuse, Agilent and MetaSolv all gained significant ground in the overall standings." Across all OSS market segments the report identified MetaSolv as #4 in overall market perception, surpassed only by Micromuse Inc., Agilent Technologies Inc., and Hewlett-Packard Co.
