Serge Beaudoin a veteran in the VOIP industry named to continue expansion worldwide for Mediatrix and M5T

SHERBROOKE, Quebec -- Mediatrix Telecom Inc., the leader in Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) access devices and gateways, today announced the appointment of Serge Beaudoin as the new President and Chief Operating Officer of Mediatrix Telecom Inc. and M5T, effective immediately. Mr. Beaudoin also becomes First Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Media5 Corporation.

Amongst his numerous successes, Serge Beaudoin was instrumental in establishing the VoIP hardware and software development team for both Mediatrix and M5T. Mr. Beaudoin has also served as Vice President, Research and Development for both Mediatrix and M5T.

Serge Beaudoin began his career more than 15 years ago as a software communications protocol designer for the Société de Microélectronique Industrielle de Sherbrooke (SMIS). His career has encompassed numerous operations and engineering assignments, including various leadership positions at SMIS, C-MAC, Mediatrix, and M5T. Mr. Beaudoin graduated in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sherbrooke and is completing an MBA from the same university.
