BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Luna Technologies, creators of Optical Vector Analysis for rapid, precise and comprehensive optical component testing, has hired Edward Valigursky as Vice President of Sales. Valigursky will concentrate on the sales and distribution of Luna's entire product line, including the Optical Vector Analyzer (OVA), a groundbreaking device that uses laser interferometry to test optical components over their full range in less than 30 seconds, compared to more than 10 minutes required by other testing methods. Valigursky previously worked for Hewlett-Packard (Agilent), Acterna, Bell Atlantic (Verizon), and Alumbre Technologies. He most recently founded Amaxim Development, which provides consulting services for sales force development to several high-technology companies.
