Lucent has completed a voice over DSL project for KPN

HILVERSUM, The Netherlands -- Lucent Technologies (NYSE: LU - News) today announced that it has successfully completed a Voice over DSL (VoDSL) project for KPN in the Netherlands. Under the terms of the contract, Lucent provided infrastructure and services to enable KPN to expand its VoDSL portfolio to offer a new converged voice and data solution to its small and medium sized enterprise customers. As part of the two-year contract, Lucent will be the exclusive partner for KPN's VoDSL implementation.

"Lucent's business case planning and technical expertise helped us plan and roll-out our first converged voice and data solutions, incorporating high quality business voice and broadband data while ensuring it was done cost effectively and with limited capital and operational expenditure."
