MS2 Accelerate, a pioneering Product Lifecycle Automation(PLA) application, helps companies speed the process of defining, developing and marketing successful products and services. Lucent, a leading global telecommunications equipment provider, has been using MS2 Accelerate on a trial basis since Q2 of 2001, and is in the second phase of implementation of the software for use in optical product development. The MS2 Accelerate application is helping Lucent to speed the development process and improve responsiveness to customer requirements with a goal to make these processes more cost-effective.
