EATONTOWN, N.J. -- Lemur Networks, a leader in providing standards-based delivery and management of dynamic IP services for broadband service providers, today announced that Dr. Brion Feinberg has been named Senior Director of Product Management & Marketing.

Feinberg, a 23-year veteran of the telecommunications and high-tech industries, will be responsible for developing and implementing the product direction and marketing strategies for Lemur’s i-Fabric suite as the company moves toward increased deployment with North American cable system operators.

“In an increasingly crowded IP services field, Lemur Networks stands apart by offering solutions to current and future needs,” said Andrew J. Audet, CEO of Lemur Networks. “Brion Feinberg’s technical, product development and marketing background will be of immediate value in identifying the issues that are most important to our customers, and in demonstrating how i-Fabric can solve them.”

A 20-year veteran of AT&T and Lucent Technologies, Feinberg most recently had been responsible for bringing new products to market as vice president of product management with Viola Networks, a provider of IP network assurance and assessment software, and as director of product management with Apogee Networks, a developer of financial analysis systems for IT services.

Feinberg joined AT&T in 1980 as a member of the technical team, with responsibility for planning and coordinating a major upgrade of the AT&T switched network routing architecture. From 1990-2000 he served as a technical manager and senior product manager within the AT&T/Lucent Communications Software Business Unit. In the latter capacity, Feinberg led the product management and definition efforts for several significant network management software products.

Feinberg received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University, and both his M.S./EE and a Ph.D. in Engineering Economic Systems from Stanford University. His work has been published in Operations Research and in Mathematics of Operations Research. He resides in Morganville, NJ.
